Update 0.42.3 — Seals of Darkness and Combat Sounds

Update 0.42.3 brings Seals of Darkness to the Temple of Darkness in Ligmar Online: earn up to 30 per visit and spend them in a new shop and forge. Story quests now cover levels 21–30, battles get new sounds and effects, and an accidentally created account can be deleted in settings.

Hello, adventurers! ⚡

Update 0.42.3 brings new Temple of Darkness rewards, continues the story of the first world, and adds new combat sounds and effects! You’ll also find changes to crafting and resource drops, along with other improvements. Let’s take a closer look:

Temple of Darkness: Seals, Shop, and Forge

Fight in the Temple of Darkness and collect Seals of Darkness to claim the rewards you want. This new currency is available in the first and second main worlds.

Here’s what you can earn in a single visit:

  • 5 seals for actively participating in the event.
  • Another 10 seals if you stay alive until the Servant of Darkness dies.
  • 3 seals for each player you kill during the event. Up to 5 kills count per visit, giving you a maximum of 15 seals from player kills.

The maximum per visit is 5 + 10 + 3 × 5 = 30 seals. Rewards go to active participants, not spectators. Player kills outside the event do not award seals.

Each world has its own seals, and they cannot be transferred between worlds. The seasonal Temple remains unchanged.

Seal Shop

Save up for a chest or mount, or stock up on useful supplies. Here’s what’s available:

  • Life Powder ×30: 15 seals.
  • Enhancement Crystals ×15: 15 seals.
  • Rage Orb: 25 seals.
  • Level 4 Great Ancient Chest in the first world: 500 seals.
  • Level 6 Great Ancient Chest in the second world: 750 seals.
  • Epic Horse: 2,500 seals.

Life Powder and Enhancement Crystals are available once per item bundle, per in-game day, in each world. Bought the powder? You can still buy the crystal bundle, and vice versa. Chests, Rage Orbs, and the rare mount have no weekly purchase limits.

You don’t have to visit the Temple on the day you make a purchase. If you’ve already saved up some seals, you can use the shop without taking part in the event that day.

Temples of Darkness: Legendary Mount

Every participant who is still alive when the Servant of Darkness dies has a very small chance to receive a Legendary Horse. Each surviving participant gets an independent chance, regardless of who lands the final blow.

This reward is available in the Temple of Darkness in the first and second main worlds, but not in the seasonal Temple. The horse unlocks directly in your Stable and is bound to your account: it cannot be traded or sold. If you already have this horse unlocked on your account, it will not drop again. The Legendary Horse is not sold in the Seal Shop.

Temple of Darkness Forge

Want “Claw of Darkness” or “Whisper of Darkness”? You can now craft these Special-quality rings at the Temple’s forge! Collect seals and choose the ring you want:

  • Level 7 rings are available in the first world, and level 9 rings in the second.
  • Crafting one ring costs 5,000 seals from the world where you craft it.
  • These rings are not sold in the shop. Head to the forge to create one.

Each ring keeps the name of the character who crafted it, along with their guild tag if they belong to a guild. This signature stays the same even if the creator changes their name or guild, or the ring changes hands.

Crafting a ring does not bind it to your account. You can trade it or sell it to another player, and the creator’s signature stays with it.

The First World’s Story Continues

The story goes on! We’ve added story quests for characters at levels 21–30. Together with the earlier quests, they now cover the entire journey through the first world from level 1 to level 30.

New Sounds and Effects

Battles and travel feel more alive! Here’s a closer look at the new sounds and visual effects:

  • Weapon attacks: attack preparation and hit sounds, plus visual effects for swords, axes, hammers, daggers, stilettos, brass knuckles, bows, and crossbows.
  • Enemy attacks: visual effects for physical and magical attacks, both melee and ranged.
  • Combat events: sounds for taking damage, missing an attack, and character death.
  • Crowd control: sounds and visual effects for stun, sleep, immobilization, slow, silence, and taunt.
  • Damage and protection: sounds and visual effects for bleeding, curse, reflection, invulnerability, and immunity to physical and magical damage, plus a visual effect for increased attack.
  • Recovery: a sound for using a health potion, a sound and visual effect for health restoration, and a visual effect for mana restoration.
  • Travel: movement sounds for your hero on foot and on horseback.

Legendary Gear Melting

You can now start improving the magical properties of Legendary items earlier. Melting requires level 5 instead of level 6 for the master who works with that type of gear.

Essences

  • Level 7 Essence is no longer sold in the PvP Shop in the first world.

Dangerous Locations in the Second World

  • The drop chance for Rage Clots in dangerous locations in the second world has increased by 20%.

Deleting an Accidentally Created Account

Accidentally created a new account instead of signing into your main one? You can now delete the extra profile in your account settings without contacting support.

  • If the account has no characters, or all characters are below level 10, it will be deleted immediately after confirmation.
  • If at least one character is level 10 or higher, the account will be deleted after 30 days. You can cancel the deletion before that period ends. When you sign in, the game will remind you about the scheduled deletion and show its date.

Be careful: deleting an account also deletes all its characters and progress. If you want to keep your profile and only change a linked social account, use the unlink option. There’s no need to delete your game account.

Chat and Quality of Life

  • Private messages, party chat, and guild chat now show when each message was sent.
  • Fixed rounding in item cards so values now display correctly.
  • Clicking “Go” on the map? It now closes after your movement is complete, rather than when it starts.
