Guild Quests and Revamped Stock — Ligmar Online
Get a first look at two systems coming to Ligmar Online: Guild Quests, where every member helps the guild grow, and revamped resource storage (Stock). Both will be available on the test server soon, with more details to follow.

Hi! Here’s a look at our plans for the next update. It will introduce two major systems: Guild Quests and revamped Stock.
Both systems are still in development: numbers and details may change based on testing. We’ll share more about each one later.
Guild Quests
A strong guild relies not just on its leader and treasury, but on every member. Guild Quests will make those contributions visible and turn them into progress for the whole team.
How It Works
Each day, your guild will receive a set of quests: hunting monsters and Champions, opening chests, inspecting Lost Cargo, and clearing basements. Guild leadership will choose which quests are active and in which world.
Every completed quest will add rewards to the guild’s balance.
What You’ll Gain
- Guild progression. The monsters you hunt, chests you open, and basements you clear will also help your guild grow.
- Your contribution won’t go to waste. Didn’t finish the whole quest in time? The reward for the part you completed will still count.
- Extra personal rewards. The leader will be able to offer an additional quest reward in silver or gold from Guild Storage. It will go directly to the member who completes the quest.
What Your Guild Will Gain
- A shared activity bonus. The more members fully complete quests during the day, the higher the bonus to guild rewards will be. Each member’s activity will boost everyone else’s results.
- Greater rewards for greater risk. Quests in dangerous locations will earn more rewards for the guild.
- A tool for guild leaders. Guild leadership will be able to direct members’ efforts toward the resources the guild needs most.
Revamped Stock
Right now, there’s no limit to how many resources you can stockpile: both your Stock and even a single Backpack slot can hold any number of identical items. Over time, some players have built up huge reserves that sit unused, contributing neither to gameplay nor to trade between players.
That’s why we’re updating how resources are managed and stored.
How It Will Work
- Item stacks. Every item except currencies, including seasonal currencies, will have a stack size: the number of units that fit in a single slot. Any additional items will take up another slot.
- Upgradeable Stock. Through the Main House, you’ll be able to increase both your total Stock capacity and the capacity for individual items. You’ll decide what to store and how much space to give it.
- Where loot will go. Monster loot will go to your Stock first. If your Stock hasn’t been built yet or has no room for that resource, the items will go to your Backpack instead, forming stacks and taking up slots.
- One total instead of scattered slots. Select an item to see its total quantity and manage it as a whole, rather than working with individual stacks.
- Crafting without moving resources. The system will count everything you own, both in your Backpack and in your Stock. You won’t need to move resources before crafting.
The changes will apply not only to your Stock, but also to the Stash and Guild Storage. Guilds will have a much larger base stack size than individual players, to accommodate supplies from many members. Upgrading the Guild Storage building will let you significantly increase the amount of resources it can hold.
We’ll cover storage limits and upgrade requirements in a separate post.
When Your Stockpiles Grow
When you’re running out of space for a resource in your Stock, you’ll have several options:
- Upgrade your Stock for that resource.
- Sell the excess on the Trading Post to players who need it. We’ll increase the base number of sell order slots to make trading without a Trading Seal more convenient.
- Transfer the resources to Guild Storage, guildmates, or friends.
Thanks for playing Ligmar Online. See you on the battlefield!
