🌒 First Season: Preparation Begins

Update 0.40 begins preparations for Ligmar Online’s first season. Starting Monday, August 17, you will be able to take part in new events in regular locations and collect seasonal resources!
The full season will be unlocked in stages, with its own progression, heroes, quests, crafting, leaderboards, and special rewards. Closer to launch, we will share more details about its rules, rewards, and what happens to seasonal heroes once it ends.
🌀 New Location Events
This update introduces a new event type in city locations: the Cursed Chest.

The Cursed Chest looks like an Epic Chest, but activating it reveals a risky combat event: you must defeat two waves of enemies and a final champion.
Cursed Chest Rewards
After defeating the final Champion, you receive:
- rewards equivalent to defeating two Champions of the corresponding level;
- x10 Enhancement Crystal;
- x1–2 Grand Epic Chest.
You also have a 5% chance to receive one additional personal reward:
| Item | Amount | Chance |
|---|---|---|
| Phoenix Tear | x1 | 1% |
| Awakening Essence +1 | x1 | 1% |
| Sacred Cutter | x1 | 5% |
| Merchant Card | x1 | 10% |
| Megaphone | x1 | 83% |
🐎 Mounts and Mounted Travel
You no longer need to plot a long route manually in city locations: your active mount can carry your hero to any available cell. Select a destination on the map, and the game will automatically build and follow a route.
How Travel Works
- Normal movement to an adjacent cell remains unchanged.
- For long-distance travel, select an available cell on the map. The game will build a route around inaccessible cells.
- Before setting off, your hero summons their mount. Summoning takes
5seconds; after that, movement continues at one cell every5seconds. - You can cancel the route by selecting the chosen cell again.
- While riding, you cannot attack or use skills. Control effects interrupt movement.
- Long-distance travel is available in regular locations. In basements, party and guild dungeons, and active Territorial War battles, movement remains turn-based.
Following and Chasing
- If the party leader starts riding, members who are following the leader and have an active mount will automatically follow. A member without an active mount remains on their current cell and stops following.
- If a selected opponent rides away from the same cell, a pursuer with an active mount gains the Chase action for 3 seconds. There is no separate activation range: it only triggers from the same cell and does not consume Action Points or Stamina.
- After activation, the mount is summoned in 2.5 seconds, then the hero follows the target’s route. While the pursuer is behind, moving between cells takes 2 seconds; after catching up, it returns to the normal 5 seconds. Stun, Sleep, Immobilize, and other restricting effects cancel the chase.
- Only the route owner can see their riding route.
How to Get a Mount
Three mounts will be available with this update:

The Riding Horse and Silver Trotter are sold in the Stable. They become available after you build it and reach account level 20. Sapphire Phantom is available only in the Newcomer Pack, which can be purchased before building the Stable.
